It all started with a tube of toothpaste for my ah-ha moment. My face used to continuously break out regardless of the several prescriptions I received that actually seemed to irritate it further. Once, I went out of town and forgot my toothpaste so just stopped in the closest store which happened to be a health store and grabbed a tube of natural paste. Little did I know this moment would change my life. Bam, my long lived acne was completely gone within a week and then my brain went into frenzy mode with research, finding I was sensitive to many of the chemicals in mainstream products.
Born and raised in a small southern town, variety and options proved to be difficult. These cleaner choices were not at my fingertips and I felt such a responsibility and urge from God to create a space for awareness, education and products for our community. After much prayer, dedicated research and trial use of clean products, little by little I kept adding until the entire store was bursting with all things clean, non toxic and beautiful for the body. It felt so right in my soul. The journey continues on and we are celebrating year 3 at Naturally on Main. We are expanding in all avenues, including making some of our own products and being a senior sales representative for Rilevare, an organic whipped body lotion and perfume line.
